some people seem bothered by this, for what I play it's not an issue.Īll in all, worth $150 for me and runs all the apps and games I already have on my android phone.Īnonymous Sun Jul 21 14:20:02 2013 No.923324 Oh, and the analog stick and crosspad are mapped to the same presses. Only problem I had with the device at all was I tried the 1.7 core custom firmwares for it and it would freeze and crash a lot, e-mailed willgoo support and they emailed me a link to original firmware 2.1 core which fixed the freezing and haven't had a problem since (going on a week now) so far snes emulation is fullspeed even on superFX games and runs everything I've thrown at it fine. I use the free retroarch android app which emulates better than the stock apps that come with this. cost about ~$150 from willgoo in china with free DHL shipping ordered it a sunday got it the upcoming friday. other than the battery life (on par with a 3ds, 3-4 hours max without a recharge) it's decent. This shit goes with me everywhere now, I just need to find a hardshell case for it since it's as wide on the short edge as a 7" tablet but is about 9 inches the other way.

I got mine 2 weeks ago and I fucking love it.

Get one of these (JXD s7300b), all the stability of android OS but with physical buttons (mapped as virtual keyboard keys) and mapping software to emulate screentaps. Isn't an android device + controller + device mount really the most flexible emu machine besides those dedicated Chinese Android gaming devices? Way more powerful than a PSP, right?Īnonymous Sun Jul 21 14:05:32 2013 No.923293 Gonna be trying that with an old ipad as well, but still would be nice on a small device like a PSP.Īnonymous Sun Jul 21 14:03:33 2013 No.923291

If you choose to use one, make sure you install Dingux, because many of the default emulators don't run well.Īnonymous Sun Jul 21 14:01:03 2013 No.923287 It worked well enough, but the controls were uncomfortable. It also runs PSX games-just get PSX2PSP and convert them.īefore this, I used a Dingoo A320. SNES emulation has compatibility issuesĢ. Touchscreens could blow away buttons for menu-driven games on the go, and no one ever bothers, instead we just get shitty runner games and awkward-control bejeweled clones (which is itself a weaker clone of Puzzle League).Īnonymous Sun Jul 21 13:52:02 2013 No.923264Īnonymous Sun Jul 21 13:58:32 2013 No.923278ġ. Why so many still try to pretend otherwise is a source of frustration to me. I agree, touch screens can be good for games, but not as pretend buttons. That ones the dingoo I think, but I hear it has significiant slowdown thoughĪnonymous Sun Jul 21 13:18:32 2013 No.923198 I just want something like pic related but functional. Rapid tapping seems like it'd be odd as fuck. I don't see how anyone can like them tbh. This would probably be the easiest and cheapest because android phones are everwhereĪnonymous Sun Jul 21 13:17:32 2013 No.923196
